Relax With Us

Staying in our rooms is like staying at my Grandmothers house when I was a child. The three rooms are clean and comfortable beds dressed with quilts made by my mother with the same love my Grandmother took care of her household with. All of the bed frames are dated to the age of the house whereas the mattresses are new and kept in new condition.

All of our rooms are dressed with towels and bath robes for absolute relaxing during your stay here at the inn. We try our best to support local, so in doing this we have East Coast Glow Hygiene products in our rooms. We have one shared bathroom right now with plans to make each room with their own bathroom.

All of our rooms have alarm clocks with charging ports and complementary WIFI internet.

  • Starting at $89 + HST per night
  • Breakfast at the Inn $25 + HST

Little Piece of Heaven

Just had to share this little piece of heaven that we found. We were traveling to Random Island over a 2 day period and couldn't find anywhere that was close to where we needed to be. We were recommended to call this newly opened inn called Milton Inn that might have something available. Well we called, luckly enough he had availability and was super accommodating. After booking the place with out even doing any research on the place cause we were desperately needing a place to stay on our travels we showed up on his doorstep. Walked inside and immediately steped back in time to grandmudders place... Old stair cases, old tables and chairs, old book cases with classic story books and old silver tea serving sets that he uses. All the furniture in the place is from a time peroid well beyond my years but it gives you a feeling of comfort like your staying at nans house and who didn't like staying at nans house. Everything in the home has a story that ya just can't seem to get enough of. To top it all off this delightful little place offered one more exciting thing, the owner is a chef and offers relaxed fine dining. All food and ingredients he cooks with are fresh and local to the community. From chickens that are locally raised to his own honey. What a surprise! Hearing that I couldn't wait to make a reservation and again I was not one bit disappointed. Will I come again? You betcha!

Traditional Feel

The Milton Inn was the perfect accommodation for our trip back home. I loved everything about the traditional feel of the Inn, reminded me of staying at my Great Aunt’s house. The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. We travelled to Newfoundland from Britain with two small kids, so having laundry facilities was a massive bonus - after a stay in St.John’s we thought we’d have to find a laundromat but being at the Milton Inn felt like staying with family. Trevor and Leah (the owners) also left us some honey to try, my 5 year old loved that! Really welcoming people, we’ll definitely stay at the Milton Inn next time we visit Newfoundland.
