Forging for Ingredients

Milton Inn prides itself on using local ingredients whenever possible, and that means foraging for ingredients – which often becomes a family event.  Chef Trevor believe it is important to teach the next generation how and where our food comes from, and instill the pride that comes with cooking a delicious meal for someone with ingredients that you yourself grew, harvested or forged.

Chef Trevor and his family forge year round for seasonal ingredients that can be used in his dishes at Milton Inn.  Fresh Cod Fish from the cold Atlantic Ocean in the summer or Wild Game like Moose harvested in the Fall,  Chef Trevor will utilize the bounty of food this beautiful province has provided to us.
